Almond Toufu

Almond Toufu
(Courtesy of my 2nd sister who obtained recipe from her SIL)

One packet of Agar Agar powder (approx 10g)
Add water (see instruction on packet) (approx 1000ml cut down to 850ml for a firmer texture)
Add 100g sugar (or more to your taste)
Bring to boil on low fire.  Stir occassionally. When boil, switch off the fire.
Add 200ml of Carnation Milk (approx half a can)
Add 100ml of Almond Juice (I use Chan Yee Jai brand)
Mix well

Pour content (through a sieve) into a tray to cool. Remove bubbles

Serve chill with canned longan or mix of attap seeds and fruits (rock melon, honeydew, kiwi, strawberry etc)

Alternative to Carnation Milk: Soya Milk, Coconut Milk
