Taro Rice
Taro Rice ......... serves 6

400g white rice
500ml water
200g diced taro
100g diced carrot
5 black mushrooms
50g dried shrimps
200g pork belly (i skip this, use lean pork instead)
Marinade
1tbsp oyster sauce
1/2tbsp light soy sauce
1/2tsp salt
1tbsp dark soy sauce
1/2tbsp sesame oil
pinch of pepper
Method
1. Cut pork into strips and marinate for 1 hour
2. Soak the mushrooms in water and dice them. Soak dried shrimps for 5minutes. Drain. Wash the rice and drain.
3. Stir fry dried shrimps in oil till fragrant. Put in pork and stir fry for a while. Add rice and stir well. Put everything into rice cooker. Add water and turn on the rice cooker.
4. Add diced carrot, diced taro and diced mushrooms after it boils. Cook until done and serve.
